ENGINEERING & DEVELOPMENT
Jinjian Auto Dies R&D is centered on full-process closed-loop development, covering process design and SE, structural design, CE calculation and springback compensation, die design, machining process and programming, and on-site process engineering. We have built a data-driven technical system that reuses accumulated experience. Through dedicated designer-per-part workflows, cloud computing and Sigma optimization of tryout parameters, and CE calculation combined with a historical experience database, we achieve more accurate design, fewer on-site adjustments, shorter development cycles, and more stable die quality—continuously delivering high-quality, cost-effective die products to our customers.
103 technical staff and 56 design engineers support every project.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
3D&2D process planning, precision calculation analysis and springback compensation ensure feasible process solutions.
Accurately predict surface defects; MSE processing reduces debug cycle and lapping time by about 45%, up to 70%.
MSE plan design and milling data creation reduce the subsequent debug cycle.
Automation and dynamic simulation plus unequal-gap treatment optimize die structure.
Interchangeable inserts shorten maintenance time for delivered dies.
Research on high-strength steel and aluminum forming processes, including aluminum die projects.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
The engineering function has evolved from process design, structure design and programming into a closed-loop system covering process design and SE, structure design, CE calculation and springback compensation, die-surface design, machining process and programming, and shop-floor process engineering. Dedicated designer-per-part workflows, cloud computing and Sigma optimization of tryout parameters, together with CE results and a historical experience database, enable early handling of secondary surfaces and reduce on-site adjustment workload.
Combined with CAE analysis, variable-clearance treatment addresses outer-panel surface quality and die core issues. Dedicated shop-floor specialists collect feedback on treated die-surface data, building a Jinjian Auto Dies proprietary database that consolidates die-surface methods and field results for similar parts.
Machining plans are developed with tooling, spindle speed, feed rate and stock allowance defined; automated machining programs are prepared with program sheets and post-processors; tools are mounted and inspected; and programs are executed for production.
